What if... money was nonexistent?
In this are a million other questions. What if, money weren’t such a major part of life? What if we weren’t pressured to make it? But, what is my point?
I think, without it, this would not only show people what is really important in life, but help them to do what they really want to and not have to spend so much time in a job to make what they need to pay bills.
I understand that working is important. Don’t get me wrong! I know first hand that it makes you responsible among other things. And God commands us to work. But, work for what? God gave the land to Adam and Eve to tend to. There was no money involved.
And the Bible is so true when it says, “Money is the root of all evil.” People steal and rob for money, no doubt because of all the pressure there is to have it. People are killed because of money. People rely more on money than they do God. It harbors greed and envy and covetousness. And the list can go on and on!
I’m not so sure that money is worth having when you compare. Seems it does more harm then good. Imagine that... something so small causing and effecting so much.
So, what would it be like if money was no more? Would it be something to hope for? Or not?
