Christianity and War

What if.. Christianity isn’t the cause of war?

I hear this a lot. “Religions such as Christianity are the cause of war in the world.”

What I want to know is whether it’s a LACK of Christianity instead that is the true culprit..? Because based on all the evidence, Christianity in particular is not a religion, it’s a reality. So, it makes more sense then that people who deny it would be the actual cause of war.

The battle between Creation and Evolution, for example. They are two "warring" factions in a constant battle against the other. I dare say that the fact Evolution goes completely against the literal Creation of the Bible is the whole root of the fight!
