This tiny part of ourselves is far greater than it appears! It is the doorway to our minds. What we set before it will shape and make us as a hurricane does the land and sea. What you put into it will either help or harm you.
Television puts anything before it without pause or consideration. Children mimic the violence they see on tv. Sex has been tainted by such constant animal imagery, it has stolen the innocence and gentility of not so long ago. Regard and decency are lost to a world consumed with South Park and The Simpson's.
They tell us we are free. Call us a liberated people. What they don't tell you is how you willingly forfeit your freedom at the hands of entertainment, just as Esau gave away his birthright for a simple bowl of stew.
It's not hard. It's actually rather simple.
And it all begins with the eyes.
What are you putting before your eyes and the eyes of those you love? Think about it and know... Guard your eyes like you would your own life. If you don't, the next thing you know, you'll be giving that away, too.
