Music

What if... listening to music were a crime?

We hear all the time about how pirating is one of many crimes concerning music. But, what about the actual music itself being illegal? What if all music had been banned from ever being heard again?

Shocking, and rather far out there, I know.. But, what if?

Well, that would be one crime I would gladly commit. What about you?

Throat(s)

What if.. people had two throats?

Would that mean thicker necks? And would soar throats be twice as bad?

Even further, what if we could use those throats separately? Like controlling your hands or feet. Might make for a killer vocalist -able to sing melody and harmony at the same time.

I wonder why we only have one...

The Fruit

What if.. only Eve had eaten from the tree and not Adam?

I wonder sometimes... Would we only be part sinful? Some sort of mutant? And what would God have done? Would Christ have still needed to come?

What do you think?

This is just one of the many questions I’ll have to ask God when I see Him in heaven.. Can’t wait! There are so many! :)

Aliens

What if... aliens really do exist?

Well, so what? If they do, I doubt they would come flying in in flat, round disks and look like they poured growth enhancers on their heads as portrayed in the movies. And especially that they would come to take over or destroy us. That’s just too strange.

Plus, what could they possibly want here on earth? If they use such advanced technology that they can get here in the first place, why would they want to? Look around. There is not much here I think they’d like. There’s not much here I like, and it’s gradually getting worse no thanks to sin and bad choices on our parts.

If there are other beings out there, what does it matter? Personally, I think people need to get their heads back on this planet and focus on it’s problems before we can even consider welcoming anyone else from whatever distant galaxy.

Racism

What if... racism were something more?

It is, I dare say, a difference between right and wrong above all; a battle between not who’s skin color is more superior or how different we look compared to another, but between what is good and what is evil. Allow me to explain...

When someone purposes to feel prejudice toward someone else, they are choosing to do away with what is right and good -to love others, no matter what. After all, looks are not what is important anyway. The heart is. Wouldn’t you agree?

Seeing as people can’t see into the heart as soon as they meet someone and it takes time to get to know someone well, racists then don’t care about logic and reason either. They see someone on the street who’s skin is different than their own and immediately decide against them because of it. Or they know of one person’s bad actions but impress that one person’s actions on everyone categorized with them (like Mexicans or Asians, Black or White people).

So, a racist not only chooses wrong over right, but also chooses ignorance over logic. In the end, it only makes them wrong and ignorant.

What’s worse is that they deceive themselves into thinking that what I just said doesn’t apply to them...

Assumptions

What if... no one ever assumed?

Too much to hope for, do you think..?

Assumptions can ruin friendships and lives and not just to those around you. It can also harm yourself. If I could engrave this in every mind, I would... NEVER ASSUME! Have good, solid proof before you draw any conclusions whatsoever.

Now, if we could read minds and hearts with people and, in essence, be God, this might be a different story (though, then it wouldn’t be called assuming). But, since we can’t and never will be, it’s not worth pretending.

Money

What if... money was nonexistent?

In this are a million other questions. What if, money weren’t such a major part of life? What if we weren’t pressured to make it? But, what is my point?

I think, without it, this would not only show people what is really important in life, but help them to do what they really want to and not have to spend so much time in a job to make what they need to pay bills.

I understand that working is important. Don’t get me wrong! I know first hand that it makes you responsible among other things. And God commands us to work. But, work for what? God gave the land to Adam and Eve to tend to. There was no money involved.

And the Bible is so true when it says, “Money is the root of all evil.” People steal and rob for money, no doubt because of all the pressure there is to have it. People are killed because of money. People rely more on money than they do God. It harbors greed and envy and covetousness. And the list can go on and on!

I’m not so sure that money is worth having when you compare. Seems it does more harm then good. Imagine that... something so small causing and effecting so much.

So, what would it be like if money was no more? Would it be something to hope for? Or not?
